God Heals the Brokenhearted

Ps. 34:18 (ESV): "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Food for Today!

1. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." No matter what spiritual, emotional, physical, or psychological situations or circumstances you encountered this morning. When you look in the mirror, you are a perfection and a miracle, no matter how you feel inside!

   
   

2. See, my brothers and sisters, as the text says, "The Lord saves those who are brokenhearted and have crushed Spirits." You may have woken up this morning, the past few mornings, or even longer, feeling like that was you!

   
   

3. My brothers and sisters, I believe that as we read this text, we will" feel "God's compassion for us and "see" His presence in our times of suffering and despair. Furthermore, this text conveys that God is attentive to those experiencing emotional pain and distress.

   
   

4. Lastly, I believe this text assures you, my brother and sisters, that in the moments of our "brokenness," we are NOT alone. God is near to foster comfort, healing, and salvation. When we invite Him in, we can experience His divine support during difficult times. He will encourage those struggling to seek solace (comfort) in our faith.
